HIGHLIGHT ! Fun activity for kids, enjoy the warm welcome of a Berber family and visit an Argan cooperative.
This is a guided donkey walk in the Haha region, 35 km south of Essaouira towards Agadir, a fun activity for kids. They can ride on the donkeys and discover, in local style, the authentic countryside.
You will pass hidden traditional Berber villages, walk through dunes near hidden beaches, and arrive at the riverside while shepherds and farmers go about their daily chores.
We have lunch (delicious goat meat or vegetarian tagine) and traditional tea. The meal in the family's home gives you an insight into authentic countryside living and eating rituals. They invite you to eat with your hands and we all eat from one pot as they do every day. Of course, you are provided with forks and plates if you wish.
On our return trip we have the option to visit an Argan oil cooperative and learn about the production of this
beautiful oil in all the world, Moroccan Gold, a product unique to this area.
They offer us a taste of the lovely things they make with it, too.
There's a good chance to see the famous goats in the trees on this tour.
